Canceled: Nothing Sacred

Nothing_Sacred-sm

Canceled

Due to an issue with the film distributor, our screenings of NOTHING SACRED must be canceled. EASY LIVING will play in its place at published showtimes – we regret any inconvenience. Double Feature with A DAY AT THE RACES.

(1937) dir William A. Wellman w/Carol Lombard, Fredrich March, Walter Connolly [77 min]
It’s Technicolor screwball comedy as Wally Cook (March), a disgraced New York reporter is sent to Vermont to interview Hazel (Lombard), a woman who has been diagnosed with a fatal case of radium poisoning. Wally brings Hazel to the big city where she is heralded as an inspiration and even given the ole ticker tape parade. Unfortunately, Hazel has been covering up the fact that she’s actually going to live and when the mayor finds out he decides to go to extremes to cover up the mistake.
