We’re pleased to welcome YOU, our beloved fellow film lovers, to participate in making movie trailers of your own in the TRAILER SMACKDOWN! Selected entries will be shown on the big screen along with our collection of hilarious, and hilariously bad, trailers on Thursday, July 12th at our annual summer party, Trailer Treats.
In celebration of our 10th annual competition, the title of this year’s fictional film is “Ten”. The goal of TRAILER SMACKDOWN is for teams to create an original trailer for the fictional movie “Ten”, and all teams must include items from the competition menu, including a character, genre, action and unique item.
This year we are asking that all teams/filmmakers register in advance, with a maximum of 20 teams allowed to participate — so sign up soon and get a head start on the competition! The deadline to register is Friday, July 6, 2012, and the deadline to receive the films is Monday, July 9. Selected finalists will be screened at the 10th annual TRAILER TREATS on Thursday, July 12, 2012.
