The
Brattle Theatre hosted its fifth annual Oscar Gala on Sunday,
February 27, 2005. Brattle members, friends, and guests enjoyed
the Academy Awards broadcast live on our theatre screen.
The
silent auction helped raise funds for the non-profit Brattle
Film Foundation and the Brattle Theatre, and attendees went
home with some fabulous prizes. In all, nearly 200 members
and guests attended the show, which kicked off at 5:30pm with
a pre-Oscar reception.
Guests
enjoyed appetizers, desserts and drinks courtesy of our generous
event sponsors: Whole Foods, Equal Exchange, Noir Bar, and
Harpoon Brewery.
Thank
you to all of our guests for helping make the evening so enjoyable,
as well as the many hours of work by our volunteers and staff
