Elements of Cinema presents a free screening of Charles Chaplin’s THE CIRCUS followed by an audience discussion led by Peter Bufano, Assistant Professor of Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music.
Charlie, a wandering tramp, becomes a circus handyman – soon the star of the show – and falls in love with the circus owner’s stepdaughter.
Admission to this screening is free and first-come, first-served beginning at 5:30pm on the day of the show. No tickets are available in advance for this screening.
Peter Bufano is a composer and multi-instrumentalist. He teaches Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he was the recipient of the 2018-2019 Newbury Comics Faculty Fellowship. Peter is a graduate of Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Clown College, Berklee College of Music, and The ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop at NYU. Learn more
