We’re excited to welcome back our friend Marya E. Gates for special screenings as part of the release of her new book, Cinema Her Way. This wonderful tome features career-spanning interviews with 19 female filmmakers whose work runs the gamut from experimental underground to big budget Hollywood fare. Each interview is accompanied by an original portrait illustrated by Alex Kittle (also The Brattle’s tech director!).
