Each summer, a movie-lover’s dream unfolds in Bologna, Italy when Il Cinema Ritrovato (Cinema Rediscovered) takes over this charming Italian city. This storied film festival highlights some of the most amazing film restorations and rediscoveries available and brings in guests and cinephiles from all over the world. The Brattle is excited to team up with members of the Cinema Studies program at UMass Boston to bring a touring version of this festival here to our own cinema-crazed shores.
