Oscar’s most awarded actress, Katharine Hepburn earned 12 Academy Award acting nominations over the course of her career and won 4 times. Not only that, the spread is remarkable: her first win was for only her third film (1933’s Morning Glory) and her final one came almost 50 years later in 1981 for ON GOLDEN POND. During this year’s Oscar weekend, we take a moment to celebrate this remarkable screen icon with a brief series featuring 4 of her nominated films and several that were overlooked by the Academy.
