As we head into Oscar weekend, we take a moment to celebrate the only three films to ever sweep the top five awards: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and the top acting awards. IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT is one of Frank Capra’s most all-around enjoyable pictures—a breakneck-paced screwball romance between a runaway heiress and the salt-of-the-earth reporter who tracks her down.
