CAPTAIN DYMO VS. THE COWMASTER is a fond homage to the weekly movie serials of the 1930s, ‘40s and ‘50s. This action/comedy was filmed in Massachusetts on 16mm black and white film back in 1976 and, though shooting was finished in 1977, it had never been completed… until now! Time and funds became available and post-production finally began in 2019 with a film transfer to 2K digital. This long-gestating film ended its epic road to completion in 2024 and is now ready to make its premiere almost 50 years after it was first shot!
