This oft-maligned sequel to the classic HALLOWEEN follows immediately after the events of the first movie with final girl Laurie Strode (Curtis) taken to a hospital where an of-course-not-dead-yet Michael inevitably tracks her down. While frequently clumsy in its attempt to add more backstory to Laurie and Michael, HALLOWEEN II’s hospital siege is still a thrillingly conceived extended horror set-piece.
