This infamous ‘90s erotic thriller written by Joe Eszterhas (Basic Instinct, Showgirls) and directed by the legendary William Friedkin (The Exorcist,Cruising) stars David Caruso as a San Francisco ADA who is drawn into a politically fraught and sexually charged murder case when his ex-lover (Fiorentino) is implicated in the crime. A critical and box office disappointment at the time, Friedkin maintained that it contains some of his best work and Eszterhas is still pissed off about the amount that his script was changed during production.
