We asked our friends at Lamplighter what they wanted to play, and this is the whiplash inducing result… This wasn’t really conceived as a double feature, but we’re going to play it that way anyway. In Greta Gerwig’s delightful, assured solo directorial debut, Saoirse Ronan stars as a high school senior who yearns for sophistication but finds it thin on the ground in Sacramento.
