In this classic satire from Albert Brooks, David (Brooks) and Linda (Hagerty) are bored, successful yuppies in Los Angeles. When David is denied a promotion and gets himself fired, he convinces Linda that they should both leave their jobs, liquidate their assets, and drop out of society—”like in Easy Rider!” The plan? Spend the rest of their lives traveling around America…in a Winnebago. Of course, nothing goes to plan, and the couple don’t get further than small town Arizona before bottoming out.
