It’s no doubt that Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy made for one of the most legendary (and consistently great) onscreen/off-screen pairings of classic Hollywood. In PAT AND MIKE, their seventh feature together, Hepburn plays a sensational athlete on the cusp of dual golf and tennis championships—if her overbearing fiancée (Ching) would just stay out of the picture that is. To try and protect herself, she enlists the help of a fast-talking sports promoter (Tracy) and, of course, romantic complications ensue.
