Originally conceived of as a trilogy featuring an original comic book style character by director Walter Hill, STREETS OF FIRE is a unique “Rock’n’Roll Fable” set in a world of, as Hill put it, “custom cars, kissing in the rain, neon, trains in the night, high-speed pursuit, rumbles, rock stars, motorcycles, jokes in tough situations, leather jackets and questions of honor.”
