Between THE MALTESE FALCON and THE BIG SLEEP, it seems that Humphrey Bogart had a corner on the hardboiled detective market in the ‘40s. Here he stars as Raymond Chandler’s inimitable flatfoot Philip Marlowe in a mindboggling tale of murder, blackmail, and good-girls-gone-bad.
Thursday: Double feature with THE MALTESE FALCON
Friday: Double feature with MURDER, MY SWEET
