New Rediscovery! Director’s Cut!
This endlessly quirky, early ‘90s oddity lead by Rosanna Arquette and David Bowie evokes the spirit of a 1930s screwball comedy as it follows an aspiring escape artist (Arquette), her best friend (Balint), and a shady bartender with a secret (Bowie) as they scheme to knock over a trendy Manhattan restaurant. Though overlooked upon its release, THE LINGUINI INCIDENT has since gained a cult following as a hidden gem. Now, the director, Richard Shepard has regained the rights to the film and put together a new director’s cut allowing it to be seen properly in theaters for the first time in years.
