In a Massachusetts suburb circa 1970, unemployed architect and floundering family man J.B. (O’Connor) thinks he has a foolproof plan to knock over the sleepy local art museum. When pretty much everything that can go wrong, does, it’s revealed, to the audience at least, that J.B. is not quite the mastermind that he thinks he is. The great Kelly Reichardt (First Cow) strikes again with a wry, artful unraveling of male ego and privilege.
