The boundlessly charming Danny Kaye stars as the titular Mitty, a hapless daydreamer who works as an editor at a pulp magazine company. Meek and mild-mannered to a fault, Mitty spends his days half in fantasy as he allows his imagination to whisk him away from reality—often at the most inopportune moments. When he becomes wrapped up in real-life intrigue, however, he finds that he is braver than he could ever imagine.
