When 9-year-old Lucie arrives in Bectoile, France for vacation while her mother leads an archaeological dig, she has no idea of the adventures ahead. Bectoile is also the town where her mother grew up, a place that still holds a family secret! With the help of a new friend and two songbirds who always seem to appear at just the right moment, Lucie follows the clues beneath a ruined castle to begin unraveling her family mystery.
