Friday Film Matinee! 35mm Screening!

Who wants to join us for a little mystery? This week, our Friday Film Matinee will be a mystery title from an acclaimed 70s auteur. Uneasily entering into a new decade, this writer/director created what would become one of his least-seen films: an early-’80s, corkscrew-plotted romantic-comedy ode to New York City. We are excited to have this title in our collection thanks to the recent gift of the Freedman/Fink Collection from RISD.

This is an original release print and has faded pretty significantly so we are partly using this screening as a quality check to get a feeling for the overall quality.
