WELCOME BACK STUDENTS (AND FILM FESTIVALS)!
We’re excited for a fall full of returning students and a whole mess of new and classic movies on screen at The Brattle! We’re thrilled to be the Boston area stop for a number of exclusive area premiere runs this season—including the newest films from Mark Cousins (The Story of Film), Ana Lily Amirpour (A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night), and Patricio Guzmán (The Battle of Chile). We’ll also be featuring two of our favorite genre film discoveries of the past 12 months: SALOUM and SLASH/BACK! Plus our usual crop of classic film series which includes a tribute to the great African American character actress and activist Ruby Dee as well as a bunch of Spooky Season favorites! Not to mention the return of GLOBEDOCS and IFFBoston’s FALL FOCUS!
