Ukraine’s official selection for the 2021 Academy Awards, ATLANTIS is a haunting and visionary subtly sci-fi drama. Following a war with Russia, the Eastern Ukraine of 2025 is a desert unsuitable for human habitation. Sergiy, a former soldier, is having trouble adapting to his new reality when he meets humanitarian activist Katya. Together they join the Black Tulip mission dedicated to exhuming the past and attempt to return to some sort of normal life in which they can envision a future together.
