Anne and Georges Laurent (Auteuil and Binoche), a bourgeois Parisian couple, start receiving mysterious videotapes showing the exterior of their house. Disturbed by this unwanted surveillance, Georges tries to figure out who could be doing it and ends up revisiting shameful acts from his childhood.
