A broke showgirl newly arrived in Paris (Colbert) finds herself swept up in the middle of a complex romantic plot involving an aristocratic couple (Barrymore and Astor), a handsome ladies man (Lederer), and a taxi driver (Ameche). This under-seen gem of romantic comedy has typically nimble direction from the similarly unsung Mitchell Leisen and a sparkling, witty script by the great comedic duo of Charles Brackett and Billy Wilder..
