Rahimi, a female journalist (the remarkable Amir-Ebrahimi) arrives in the holy city of Mashhad to report on and hunt down a murderer of sex workers. In potential danger not only from the killer himself but also from those meant to help her, Rahimi becomes fixated on finding justice for the women that her society despises.
