Frustrated teen Sarah (Connelly) is stuck babysitting her annoying baby brother until she innocently invokes the Goblin King to come and steal him away. When the supposedly legendary villain actually shows up (in the form of an unreasonably sexy David Bowie) and steals him away, Sarah journeys to a fantasy realm populated by wonderfully designed muppets to try and get him back.
