Will Forte reprises his SNL role of ace special ops agent MacGruber who is brought back from retirement to track down his nemesis Dieter von Cunth (Kilmer). This unhinged action film spoof resulted in one amazing missed opportunity: according to Forte, after production wrapped, Kilmer seriously proposed that the two of them go on The Amazing Race together—only to have the idea shot down by their agents.
