A more straightforward narrative but no less affecting a portrait of contemporary trans-ness, MUTT follows Feña a recently transitioned trans man who, over the course of one long day, reconnects with their past while beginning to come to terms with the next phase of life as their true authentic self. Lio Mehiel’s open, honest performance as Feña is a wonder unto itself.
