The wonderfully quirky PENNIES FROM HEAVEN sees cinematographer Gordon Willis (The Godfather), director Herbert Ross (The Last of Sheila), screenwriter Dennis Potter, star Steve Martin, and a surprisingly light-footed Christopher Walken recreating the Depression Era musical through the jaundiced, cynical eye of the 1970s.
