SIRENS intimately chronicles the lives and music of Slave to Sirens, a band made up of five young metalheads whose burgeoning fame is set against the backdrop of the Lebanese revolution. Its members wrestle with friendship, sexuality, and destruction as their music serves as a refuge to Beirut’s youth culture. Despite their obvious challenges, the members of Slave to Sirens persist in trying to create a revolution of their own: living their truth. – Oscilloscope Films

In English and Arabic with English subtitles

“Sirens is a powerful reminder that punk isn’t dead if you know where to look.” – Jude Dry, IndieWire

“Slave to Sirens’ music encapsulates the rage captured inside of themselves and their country; being unable to speak their truth, the anger explodes within their music. But the beauty of Sirens lies in the moments of vulnerability.” – Rosemarie Lundgaard, Bust Magazine
