In Tribute to Ray Liotta!

When the news broke this past weekend of the untimely passing of Ray Liotta, all we could think about was his amazing performance in Jonathan Demme’s SOMETHING WILD. For most, this was the first time seeing Liotta on screen and his sexy, sinister performance is decidedly memorable. Jeff Daniels plays an uptight yuppie who learns to love being kidnapped by Melanie Griffith’s Audrey—a prototypical manic pixie dream girl on the run from her unpredictable ex-con husband (Liotta).

“It’s not every day that someone goes Alfred Hitchcock one better, but in ‘Something Wild,’ Jonathan Demme has done it.” – Dave Kehr, Chicago Tribune
