This unforgettable sequel to the original Star Trek: The Motion Picture is considered by many to be the best film in the entire Star Trek canon. After a muted reaction to the first big screen foray of the starship Enterprise, Paramount sought a more swashbuckling and faster-paced story (unfortunately booting creator Gene Roddenberry out of the production in the process). They certainly succeeded in making WRATH OF KHAN an exciting film—mainly thanks to the presence of cinema veteran Ricardo Montalbán as the iconic antagonist Khan Noonien Singh.
