Erotic thrillers were all the rage in the late ‘80s so, of course, Corman was hot to jump on the bandwagon. Fortunately, he enlisted Katt Shea (Poison Ivy) to direct STRIPPED TO KILL, an otherwise ridiculous flick about a murderer stalking the performers at a strip club that benefits from Shea’s facility with actors and her neo-noir sensibilities. Despite a heavy-handed and offensive twist in the third act, STRIPPED TO KILL is far more compelling than your average straight-to-video garbage of the time. Brattle Debut
