A retired hairdresser (Kier) escapes his nursing home to do the hair of one of his former clients… for her funeral. Kier is amazing (as always) and it is fantastic to see him in a leading role for once. He is joined by Jennifer Coolidge as his rival/protégée to keep the camp level on high. Both acidicly funny and tenderly poignant, SWAN SONG is a love letter to the groundbreakers of queerness who came before, thanking them for how much they’ve made possible today.
