Alice Waddington’s fantastical satire is set at Paradise, a bizarre treatment center for rebellious young women run by the grandiose and sinister Duchess (Jovovich in full Queen of Hearts mode). When Uma (Roberts), the daughter of a rich family, refuses her mother’s preferred suitor, she is sent to Paradise where she befriends three other inmates (Macdonald, Awkwafina, and González) and begins to plot her escape.
