This sensational film from Bette Gordon follows Christine (McLoed), an unassuming young woman, who is hired to sell tickets at a porn theater near Times Square. At first treating it as just a job, Christine soon becomes obsessed—not with the sex in the films but with the patrons who come night after night. A rare film that deals frankly with female sexuality and honestly with the impossible-to-understand idiosyncrasies of anyone’s internal fantasy life.

Double feature with PERMANENT VACATION
