Friday Film Matinee! In Tribute to Sonny Rollins
This summer we will be celebrating the IB Technicolor prints in The Brattle’s film archive for our Friday Film Matinees. We kick things off with this British New Wave classic starring a handsome young Michael Caine as an incorrigible ladies’ man who starts to realize the impact his wanton lifestyle has on others. With a score from the legendary jazz musician Sonny Rollins who just passed away in June.

The Friday Film Matinee is an ongoing program at The Brattle featuring special screenings of 35mm prints on Friday afternoons. We know that seeing a film on 35mm is worth skipping class or leaving work early for so come play hooky with us as we celebrate the magic of ‘reel film’ at The Brattle!
