This eccentric ‘80s oddity features Harry Dean Stanton as Brother Bud Sanders, a bogus faith healer who has somehow actually gained the power to heal. When Brother Bud hooks up with an old friend and fellow con artist (Ward) and a supermarket clerk who has visions of a coming UFO (Williams), he starts to exploit the new ‘true believers’… the UFO fanatics.
